Delete your account

Effective 14 September 2026. Karvan is operated by Forgewake LLC.

You can delete your Karvan account and the data attached to it at any time, without contacting us and without giving a reason.

In the app

1. Open Karvan.
2. Go to Settings → Profile.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion runs immediately. The tunnel is closed, your device's access is withdrawn from every location, and your records are removed from our systems.

By e-mail

If you can no longer open the App, write to karvan@forgewake.com with the subject “Delete my Karvan account”. If you signed in with Apple or Google, write from that address. Otherwise accounts are anonymous by design, so include enough for us to find yours — the account identifier shown on the Profile screen, or the store receipt for a purchase. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account identifier and session records.
• The Apple or Google identity linked to the account, if you linked one, along with the e-mail address it released.
• Your device's public key and its access to every location.
• The internal address assigned to you, returned to the pool.
• Your earned premium time and its history.
• Your connection metadata: locations chosen, timestamps, session lengths, byte counters.
• Your push token, if you had notifications on.

What is not deleted

• Traffic records — because none exist. We never log what you reach, so there is nothing of that kind to erase.
• Purchase records held by Apple or Google, and the accounting records we must keep by law, for as long as the law requires.
• Aggregated statistics that no longer identify anyone.

Deletion is permanent: an account cannot be restored, and earned premium time cannot be recovered afterwards. If you have an active subscription, it is simpler to cancel first and delete once the paid period has run out.
