This Privacy Policy explains how Forgewake LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit forgewake.com or contact us. We are the data controller for the information described below.

1. Data we collect
- Contact form data — the name, email address, optional company name and message you submit.
- Technical data — when you submit the form we log your IP address and a timestamp, purely as an anti-spam and security measure.
- Storage — a single strictly-necessary item

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, and we do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.
2. Why we use it (legal basis)
- To respond to your enquiry — legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering prospective clients (Art. 6(1)(a)/(f) GDPR).
- To protect the Site from spam and abuse — legal basis: our legitimate interest in security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. How long we keep it
Contact submissions are retained only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and are deleted when no longer required. Anti-spam logs are kept for a short period and then purged.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers strictly necessary to operate the Site and communicate with you:
- Our web hosting provider (stores the Site and processes form submissions).
- Our email provider (delivers your message to us).
- Google Fonts (serves fonts; receives your IP address only — no cookies).
5. International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
